Bitrix, Inc. (www.bitrixsoft.com), a technology trendsetter in business communications solutions, announces its partnership with SPIRIT DSP, a global brand in quality voice, audio and data transmission, and VideoPort, a video communications systems developer, to integrate video and voice conferencing technologies into Bitrix® Intranet Portal.
“Bitrix hits the top in the Enterprise 2.0 environment by providing customers top-notch functionality in communication and collaboration,” said Dmitry Valyanov, President of Bitrix, Inc. “The advent of the conferencing technologies signals the beginning of a new era in the intranet market, enabling small and medium businesses to initiate immediate peer-to-peer and group meetings with real-time video and voice streaming”.
Video conferencing will be available in the upcoming Bitrix® Intranet Portal 9.0 release to be launched in April, 2010. Customers can create a number of virtual video meeting rooms according to their license terms and make online room reservations using a real-time status display in the public calendar. The feature allows initiating either an instant peer-to-peer video call or a click-away video conference for up to twelve participants. Video conferencing is available both for internal and external communications and requires a simple browser plug-in on the client side.
The much-anticipated release of Bitrix® Intranet Portal 9.0 will reinforce Bitrix’ leading positions in the competitive environment. Coupled with integrated instant messaging, email processing and rich social buzz functionality, the solution will provide a full range of communication tools that allow organizations to enjoy a high-quality Enterprise 2.0 experience and improve business decision-making. |
